The authors of “The Miracles of Barefoot Capitalism” have established a fund to receive contributions from individuals who wish to help the ambitious poor. It’s the Miracles of Microcredit Fund, which will be maintained by The Minneapolis Foundation, one of the country’s major community foundations. Because it’s a certified non-profit entity, contributions to Miracles of Microcredit are tax-deductible as they are to other fund-raising institutions in microcredit listed in the back of the book. If you wish, you can designate your preference for a country or a part of the world to which you would like your contribution sent. Contributions should be sent with your name and address to Miracles of Microcredit, C/O The Minneapolis Foundation, 800 IDS Center, 80 S. 8th St., Minneapolis, MN 55402. You will receive a letter from the fund attesting to your contribution.
